Early 2012 Nissan Versa 1.6 SL Sedan reviews are coming in decidedly okay, just okay. However, being okay is great for a car with a base price just to the north of $10,000 – a price that will be right in the wheelhouse for many students and first time drivers who are short in the credit and income department.
Reviewers are finding that the all-new Versa’s mpg ratings of 30 city, 38 highway and 33 combined are accurate. One reviewer achieved a 33.3 miles to the gallon during his 300-mile test drive. Another positive about the inexpensive vehicle is that it has much more rear-seat room than nearly every other subcompact on the market these days.
The Versa mostly provides a quiet ride, though it does get a little noisy when called on to accelerate quickly, something that it cannot do.
